Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!

If you would like to have a judge officiate your wedding ceremony, you can use this form to submit that request. Before submitting this form, you must have acquired your marriage license from the District Court Clerk’s office. Please read and respond to all questions carefully.

If you would like to have a specific judge perform your ceremony, please contact that judge's administrative assistant directly.

Fees apply for ceremonies officiated by judges. Fees for ceremonies are as follows:

  • Judicial and Law Enforcement Center (Courtroom), weekday at 5:00 PM - $60
  • South Park Gazebo, weekday at 5:00 PM - $100
  • Outside venue or weekends - $150
Fees must be paid in cash only, exact change.

The state of Kansas requires two witnesses 18 years of age or older to be present at the ceremony. If you cannot provide witnesses, the court may provide them at a fee of $15 per witness.

 

Please note that ceremonies are subject to judge availability. Submitting this form does not guarantee that a judge will be available for the date and time you select. You will receive communication from the court when your request is confirmed and your ceremony is scheduled.
