There will be an open house about Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) regulations from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, at the Riverfront Building, 1 Riverfront Plaza, where community members can meet with Lawrence-Douglas County Planning staff. The draft revised regulations were published on Dec. 7 and can be viewed here. Members of the public are encouraged to submit comments regarding the draft language to windregs@lawrenceks.org.
